Rules that stick

Keep two students apart, seat a student in the front row, or put two in the same group. Rules belong to the class, so every new chart follows them.

Tables and groups

Tables of any size, split into pairs, trios or solo seats. Drag seats to match your real room, or trace over a photo of it.

Fair mixing

Mix boys and girls (or any groups you define) in every pair and table. Tag students like “Needs support” and seat each one with a helper.

New partners every time

ClassMap remembers your last charts and avoids seating the same students together again — without breaking any of your rules.

Print, present, hand off

Print a clean chart, or a substitute version with your notes and rules. Put it on the projector so students find their seats.

Private by design

Class lists stay on your device. Optional Google sign-in keeps a copy in your own Google Drive — never on our servers, because there aren't any.

How it works

  1. Add your class. Paste names from a spreadsheet or your school's system. ClassMap sorts common first names into groups for you.
  2. Build the room. Place tables, seats and the board — once. Every new chart starts from the same room.
  3. Auto-assign. Seats are filled following your rules. Drag anyone to adjust, pin a student in place, and you're done.
